Backbone.js have following features :

Event-driven communication:
The jQuery declarations and callbacks get more and more complex and are distributed all over the place.

Syncing with a back-end:
backbone is already configured to access these directly for read, write, and delete operations (via GET, POST, and DELETE).

Maintainability:
Backbone features a common coding style without the need of coming up with an extensive set of coding standards.

React :
Reactive programming enables the consumer reacts to the data as it comes in. This is why the  asynchronous programming is also called reactive programming. Reactive programming allows to propagates event changes to registered observers.

RxJava is a Java VM implementation of ReactiveX (Reactive Extensions): a library for composing asynchronous and event-based programs by using observable sequences.

RxJava is a library that helps programmers to write asynchronous, concurrent, and resilient applications. Using RxJava you write programs in reactive programming paradigm.

D3.js is a JavaScript library for manipulating documents based on data. D3 helps to bring data to life using HTML, SVG and CSS. D3s emphasis on web standards gives  the full capabilities of modern browsers without tying to a proprietary framework, combining powerful visualization components and a data-driven approach to DOM manipulation.

D3.js helps to build  Graphic / Data Visualization framework. D3.js focuses on binding data to DOM elements. Since it works seamlessly with existing web technologies, and can manipulate any part of the document object model, as the client side web technology stack (HTML, CSS, SVG).
